Saab has signed a framework agreement with the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV) for military training and simulation systems and has received the first orders within the new agreement. The total order value is approximately SEK 340 million and deliveries will take place 2023-2025.
The orders, which were booked in the third quarter of 2022, include training and simulation systems for anti-tank weapons, vehicle and soldier systems and all the necessary associated equipment. Saab and FMV have also signed a three-year framework agreement for military training and simulation systems with a potential additional order value of up to SEK 110 million.
”We look forward to continuing to support the Swedish Armed Forces with our live training systems. Our systems work and behave like operational equipment, which gives the user the best possible training for future missions. Our training solutions are interoperable, which is necessary for training with other nations,” says Åsa Thegström, head of Saab’s business unit Training & Simulation.
Through innovative use of technology and a well-proven training philosophy, Saab offers world leading training solutions and capabilities enabling interoperability and realism for land forces.
