V2X Inc. (NYSE: VVX) has secured a significant $103 million contract from the U.S. Navy for Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) covering maintenance services on the fleet of C-26 aircraft, underscoring the company’s established position as a preferred provider in this specialized operational support area. This award solidifies V2X’s longstanding relationship with Navy aviation, highlighting its consistent capability to maintain high mission readiness levels and its commitment to operational excellence.
Under the terms of this firm-fixed-price contract, V2X will offer comprehensive logistics and technical support, which includes detailed aircraft engineering, system upgrades, regular maintenance, and necessary modifications to ensure optimal performance of the C-26 fleet. The company’s robust approach ensures minimal downtime and maximizes aircraft availability for critical missions, a fundamental requirement given the strategic importance of these aircraft.
Jeremy C. Wensinger, President and CEO of V2X, emphasized that the Navy’s decision to award the contract to V2X reflects ongoing trust in the company’s proven track record of delivering superior aircraft readiness. According to Wensinger, this confidence stems from the company’s sustained ability to maintain fleet performance at exceptional levels, thus directly enhancing global operational readiness for the Navy. Senior Vice President of Aerospace Systems at V2X, Vinny Caputo, noted the company’s consistent achievement of readiness rates surpassing 90 percent—a benchmark demonstrating V2X’s effective management and operational capabilities. Caputo highlighted that a distinctive strength of V2X’s maintenance program lies in its extensive network of FAA Part 145-certified repair stations. These specialized facilities significantly amplify readiness by providing a comprehensive, agile infrastructure to swiftly address maintenance and repair requirements, ensuring aircraft remain fully operational and readily deployable.
Scheduled to commence operations in June 2025, this contract will involve maintaining eight C-26A/D aircraft distributed across four primary bases—one located within the United States and three additional international facilities. The distribution of these operational bases underscores the global scale and logistical complexity inherent in this assignment, further validating V2X’s capability and capacity to manage sophisticated, geographically dispersed maintenance programs efficiently.
